Case Study: Allerton High

Before we started using Unifrog in our school, we had a number of challenges related to supporting students to find and apply to a range of opportunities. The staff team are excellent at supporting students, especially those who are looking to go to university, but those looking to undertake apprenticeships and other pathways were more difficult to help and teachers don’t have enough time to be on top of everything!

A member of the Unifrog team came in to demo the platform to us and we quickly saw that it ticked many of our boxes and we were keen to sign up. We launched it with our students and trained up our staff and the process was simple and it got us off in the best way.

Unifrog has since solved a range of issues that I had always dealt with as Director of Post 16 Studies; communicating predicted grades, ensuring students think more aspirational as well and realistically about their future plans; and to inform students about non-university pathways to name just a few. We have also seen a marked improvement in the research students have been doing about opportunities, but more importantly they are making smarter and informed choices. Plus, anything that makes things easier for teachers has to be great and the response from them has been overwhelmingly positive!

The impact Unifrog has had on our school and students has been fantastic; the unifying system is a one stop shop that has ensured students can search for opportunities and teachers can track and communicate with them more effectively.
