Many are familiar with Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin as modern dictators. But how do we discuss dictators as a type of political leader? How do we categorise them, and what does this tell us about how they act. The politics of perception are vital to understanding politics in countries that lacked fair elections and a free press. Looking at a selection on 20th Century dictators, we will ask questions about how they are perceived and how they govern. Join Bangor University to learn more!
