Raising Aspirations, Achieving Potential and Improving Careers Guidance
18th January 2017

Last year at Unifrog we ran our first series of 'Progression Conferences' at schools across the country - the events were focused on careers guidance, post-school destinations and maximising student success. All of the events were led by national experts, completely free to attend and we consistently received feedback such as:
"Brilliant breakout sessions and speakers, excellent organisation, very friendly and helpful guides, a fantastic, useful and insightful day." - delegate feedback from 'The Progression Summit' at Walworth Academy, June 2016
Thanks to their popularity, we're going even bigger and better this year with a fantastic line-up of free events across the country between now and the summer. Sessions we're running include:
- What Universities Want: Crucial tips on making successful applications to selective universities
- Going Dutch: Learn why The Netherlands is becoming a top HE destination for UK students and how to help students apply
- Stretching the Most Able: Tactics for ensuring the most able students achieve their potential and reach top destinations
- Focusing on Mental Health: Strategies to promote mental health awareness and wellbeing in Sixth Form
- STEM: How to effectively promote STEM pathways in school and supporting students looking to move into the sector
The events are mainly for senior leaders, Heads of Sixth, KS4 and Careers and any teachers involved in the UCAS or Careers process. Each session provides delegates with practical actions that they can take back to their schools and colleges to implement. They're also an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues and catch up on the latest best practice.
